The Universe
The Universe
When you live in nature for some weeks
And spend time up North
Where the light never ceases in the summerWhen you look up to the stars in Ticino
And the stars hang into the sky 3-dimensionally
And you start to get itThat we are not the center of this Universe
We are a speck on a planet circling around a star
Out of billions of other stars and probably UniversesWhen you really get that
You start to feel very humbled
You realize you are nothing and everything
You are so small and so big
You are not important and very importantAt the crossing of these apparent polarities
Stay there
And wonder, what kind of existence would that be
If I would live in that consciousness alwaysThat we are so small and so big
That we are nothing and everything
That what we think and do, doesn’t matter all so much
And nevertheless it mattersIf you stay at that crossing
And really feel into it
That I would call a life lived in Awe.
